No Discrimination

In the 21st century, we can say that racial discrimination has been slowly eliminated in most civil societies. Although discrimination is still not yet completely a thing of the past, people have significantly shared in promoting tolerance, understanding and inclusive of other races in their community. Many have been trying to live together in harmony with a lot of acceptance for each other's cultures. In fact, almost all modern countries are multi-cultural now. Even in our very own homes, nobody can deny that multiculturalism subsists and exists.

Several years ago, this would not have been possible. History shows that many people have fought against it or have overcome it in their own lives. Thus, in appreciation of this, we need to be more aware of racism and discrimination, being sensitive to its various forms. I think that education has played a major part in diminishing racism. Schools have taught many to see other persons as their equal, regardless of race, color or ethnicity. The advent of the internet also has brought more people closer and more open. Now, there are several venues to meet people of different races where black men white women chat. The internet has really made a positive effect in informing, engaging and challenging people from across the globe to fight discrimination.
