Photographing Children: Basic Digital Photography Workshop

HOME MATTERS invites you to join us in the BASIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP on March 13, 2010 (Saturday), 3:00 - 6:00 pm, in 26D Amorsolo East, Rockwell. We'll charge a small amount of P150 for the expense and token to the speaker.

A guest speaker from ADPHOTO will give a lecture on using the digital camera on the first part of the workshop. We'll then have an actual shooting activity to apply what we learn. DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR CAMERA.

ABC's of Nutrition

This is kind of a delayed post (since the activity already started). However, I would still like to share with you something interesting that you may want to attend. It's a series of talk by Registered Nutritionist (and my friend) Che de Vega about grocerying, diet and healthy living.

Just leave me a comment if you are interested to join me in the future talks. I was told too that after this set, the next activity would be a Home Management Course by Ms. Frannie Daez, the author of Keep it Together (a home management book). I am sooo interested!!

Flower Arrangement Tutorial

Fresh flowers never fails brightens up a home. That's why I always make it a point to buy fresh flowers for the house.

Here's the flower arrangement we have in the dining table for this week:

This flower arrangement consists of some orchids and some stems of green plant (c/o our garden). Plus I got some green stones (bought from Divi) to accentuate the bottom part of the vase. The arrangement is just simple coz I still don't know how create complicated styles. Haha. That's why I think I need to learn more about flower arrangement!
